YANELISA BOKVELD CALL OUT DAILY DISPATCH FOR UNPROFESSIONALISM

On the 9th of May 2020, Yanelisa Bokveld urged the Daily Dispatch to publicly apologise to her for their unprofessionalism.

The Daily Dispatch wrote an article on Miss OR Tambo 2019/20 on the 9th of May 2020, Hlumela Bekentla who haven't received the bakkie she won from the pageant from the municipality and that delayed her duties. The Daily Dispatch newspaper displayed a picture of Bokveld instead of Bekentla and according to their article it was supplied. Bokveld was furious to find out about this matter that was disreputable for her brand as Miss TUT 2017/18(PTA Campus) & Miss SA Campus 1st Princess 2019. On the 9th of May, Bokveld exposed Daily Dispatch on her recent post on Facebook seeking clarity on supply of her picture and wanted a public apology from the newspaper.

She didn't return to give feedback about whether Daily Dispatch reached her as she made claims towards unprofessionalism of a provincial newspaper. We were able to make contact with her and she agreed to the fact that Daily Dispatch did apologise.
