A rapper, photographer, filmmaker, event organiser, Prince Whyte has decided to take break from music after his hit single that is an awareness of Gender-based violence (GBV), Umthandazo.

A press statement he released yesterday read:

"It has been a while. It has been a great journey, doing music has been the dream which I fulfilled. My music touched souls, healed people and now its time I take a break.

This won't be long as I will be giving each skill a chance and try to push myself to reach where I'm destined.

To my people 'Look I have been giving you music and healing souls, this time I have to heal myself'.

To people who are looking up to me 'I am and will always be there for you whenever you need me I'm just a call away'.

Family, I know you have been supporting my music and loving what I call myself. Sorry I had to take a break without a notice.

I love you all."

Fortunately he is taking break because he has another side of his career to feed more.
