Queenstown's aspiring rapper, Jimmy Backwoods who's real name is Achume Fulatela met one of the vocal pioneers of S.A Hip Hop, Scoop Makhathini.

Cali's rapper recites in Braaimfotein, Johannesburg as he's a university first year scholar there. He met Scoop through his cousin, Ayanda Makayi who played DJ Mo's character on SABC 1 drama series, Makoti as Makayi is a friend of Scoop. Makayi introduced Backwoods to the S.A Hip Hop culture analyst when Scoop came to Braaimfotein to do an exclusive MTV Base ad a few weeks ago. Backwoods said that he and Scoop at first didn't have a most broad conversation as their route of communication was on issue of "manhood" as two Xhosa men who met at Jozi and both from the Eastern Cape. As the conversation proceeded he mentioned that he's actually a rapper and they went on about how Yanga Chief's career of a decade was about to end because of Xhosa rappers not being relevant on the mainstream and commercial space. Scoop who's real name is Siyabonga Ngwekazi gave blessings to Fulatela and pleaded him to work hard as the industry is slowly opening up for Xhosa rappers in the commercial space. Fulatela also alerts his fans that he's working on a project he might drop soon and he didn't confirm the release date yet.

Fulatela, a week ago found out to have been infected with the popular epidemic, Covid-19 and have confirmed being on self isolation. He is slowly gaining his sense of food tasting although not 100% healed. He advises the public to follow the rules and regulations, wash their hands, sanitise and wear masks regularly because the virus is real.
