A rising star, Kwanda Mahlombe has been making moves with his cover song videos and have touched hearts of many celebrities from Lady Zamar, Lloyiso, Vusi Nova and Ami Faku.

Mahlombe grew up from a musical family and although he grew up from a family of maestros he didn't know he could sing. At the age of six, he was trained how to play a keyboard by his family members which later in life, he became his church's keyboard player. The wildest discovery that he could sing got noticed by him in his Arts and Culture classes in primary school that he had a thing for music. Most of his peers would repeatedly back at school ask him to sing and that's when he gained most confidence. In his boosted self-esteem he was able to join the school choir, led the song at school's assembly point and in maturity in his music decided to do videos to display on the internet. He started by doing videos and post on his WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and recently have two videos under his YouTube channel.

His motivation is extracted from Mlindo The Vocalist's breakthrough to the mainstream media platforms after DJ Maphorisa did a song with him called "AmaBlesser" which became most loved song in its year of release in 2018. Mahlombe has received quite numerous of reactions from celebrities and he said in response, "I won't lie I am happy about their reactions and comments but they mean nothing now. I want a feature or collaboration. Lloyiso retweeted and commented on two of my Twitter videos and at first I was very happy but on the second one it meant nothing if he don't want to work with me. Lady Zamar reacted on my past videos not on my recent. Ami Faku on the other side just likes the videos. I'm very hungry now and the only thing that would make me happy is making music with them."

In Mahlombe's production of his recent YouTube videos he was very fortunate to work with a Komani's music producer/engineer, Mcebisi Shenxane for free after the producer was impressed by his work. They did the first video together which did well and trended and that's when they did the second one too. Currently, Mahlombe is in Pretoria and there's a producer who's willing to work with him although he's still in warm hands with Mcedisi. He fears that this Pretoria producer could not be professional as Mcebisi, such a man for high quality. Mahlombe didn't disclose his relationship status as most women are thrilled to know what would be up with his love life and didn't comment on the connection of his music to his love life. Everyone grows up on inspiration and Mahlombe has been inspired by many but nobody surpasses Mlindo The Vocalist as he followed under his footsteps. His wish is to not land on a label that would treat him like Ambitious Entertainment's past signed artists. A few labels have been hunting for him but by the look of things they are labels that are on baby steps. "I want people that will grow me up not people that want to grow up to the ladder by me and dash me out at the end of the day." he said. Mahlombe has been writing some music but he's creating a solid fan base first. He is recently learning how to play guitar.
