Asanda Majelimani who is a former Bulelani Senior Secondary School pupil and Nelson Mandela University student had everyone in awe after her grand performance in Idols SA season 16 singing Zonke's Jikizinto.

Majelimani started being a music lover and musician at a very young age and entered a lot of local competitions before competing for this national competition. After being victorious to local competitions, she decided to try something new and expose her talent to a wider audience. Her confidence played part in her joining the competition because as she said, "OK... So what made me finally join is that I actually love singing and I really trust myself, so now I wanted to try something new and expose my talent because I've actually joined a lot of local competitions and I thought now was the time to level up my game." She is very happy to have performed in front of internationally recognised stars like Randall Abrahams, Unathi Nkayi, Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung alongside a Hip Hop artist and an entrepreneur who was a guest judge for Cape Town auditions, Cassper Nyovest because they are experienced. Majelimani cautions everyone who may be interested to contest for 2021 to practice daily because it is true that "practice makes perfect" and always pray because being on such Idols SA stage is nerve wracking.

Siziphiwe Hlangu who is Umtata borne also rose the Umtata and Eastern Cape flag high too. What a time to be alive and stay tuned to follow up on their journey as they scooped their golden tickets and heading to Theatre Week.
