Azasakhe Vinjwa who is Ezibeleni resident in Queenstown (Komani) entered Miss Elegant Plus Size Online Pageant 2020 as her pride in embracing the beauty of being a plus size woman.

In the past years, pageants were a thing or were normalised to its criteria for catering for thin girls. In recent days, there's a lot of pride and beauty in any size and the society is really trying to not measure beauty based on make up, certain body shape and texture. Vinjwa's journey has been a hell one as she's been for years insecure with her body. She believes that the pageant is one platform that will allow her to be a living example that your body shape is your pride and either you're thick or thin, you must accept and love your body. Her insecurities concerning her body were extracted from her by her male friend, Athenkosi Cokile and her Facebook friends. She's one of those people who found more confidence on social media as people started to like her pictures and complimenting her.

Vinjwa looks forward to win the pageant and by far is having the best support system as she's currently sitting on 240 votes recorded since last night. If she could win the pageant those, she said to look for more modelling opportunities and at a later stage create a wider platform for young children to groom.

She grew up on a very musical environment as her parents grandparents are maestros . When she was nine , she joined the school choir in Southbourne Primary School where she discovered her gift of music . Mahlombe grew up from a musical family and although he grew up from a family of maestros he didn't know he could sing. At the age of six, he was trained how to play a keyboard by his family members which later in life, he became his church's keyboard player.
