YET ANOTHER IDOLS SA GOLDEN TICKET WINNER FROM QUEENSTOWN

Sikho Naphina Nomnganga had the most shock of her life when she was considered the right contestant for a golden ticket .
The Ezibeleni borne singer moved with her parents to the other side of town , Westbourne when she was in a tender age of primary schooling . She grew up on a very musical environment as her parents grandparents are maestros . When she was nine , she joined the school choir in Southbourne Primary School where she discovered her gift of music . She later enrolled to Royal Capital where she joined a school choir there too but unfortunately didn't sing solo as any vocalist would wish . Going to high school in Get Ahead College , she had the testing time of her life as she had the privilege to sing solo on a school choir and even led the songs on the school assembly . She started being so vocal about her singing and most of her school mates would remember her by a Shona song she sang beautifully and everyone would just lock their ears on her .
Another week from Idols SA and another win for Queenstown , from Asanda Majelimani to Sikho Naphina Nomnganga . Nomnganga has entered the likes of Tambokie Festival competition but unfortunately didn't win . She was very anxious about the decision she took about entering for Idols SA . She had a little faith in her that she could do it and by results she did it . "To anyone aspiring to enter idols, I'd like to say: Trust yourself but most importantly know why you want to enter the competition. Do not go there seeking validation. Be sure of yourself. It's more than just about singing. It's about performing, connecting with people and learning and applying what you learn from the show to perfect your craft. The journey will not be easy. What people see in t.v. is just a shorter version of what actually happens on the show. It's not easy spending 12 hours waiting in line and another 5 hours in the waiting room, but it is definitely worth the wait." she said .
