What first got you into music?
- My Uncle's used to listen to a lot of music, different tunes, Reggae Music, Jazz, Kwaito And Hip Hop, so that inspired me to want to do music
Who inspired you to make music?
- Locally, it was One Touch, MSP n Low Noise, but Young Shizzy was a close friend I partly grew up with, so seeing him perform made me want to do some of what he did.. but I then got inspired but a close friend again Fiiona, we wrote our very first song in Grade 5
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
- Describing it would only mean I'm limiting myself, so I'd positively think, what I do is indescribable and it comes from the heart, past and present experiences but nost of it is fun
What is your creative process like?
- It depends on the day, there's times where I juss feel like going to the mic without even writing, and just freestyle and have fun, but mostly thou, the process is always quick coz I'm always high and I believe in time, but I know that repetition is the father of learning so I repeat if I have to.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
- Every dope artist or anyone that wants to collaborate but to be specific, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Young Thug
If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
- Lil Wayne
What is one message you would give to your fans?
- Live your truth, don't ever try to be the other person just to fit in
What is the most useless talent you have?
- I'd like to think smoking is useful but okay it's dancing😂.
Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
- Only when I'm at a BnB I play a speaker full of beats then Freestyle n Record, then I listen to it if I like it I write a full song.
What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
- 4 of my friends I grew up with are in the streets robbing, 4 of them been arrested before, I think I'd be one of them, I'd be so focused on politics and education. At least that's what I think.
Where have you performed? What are your favourite and least favourite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
- I've been to a lot of places, some I probably don't remember due to my drug use... Weed n Syrup and MBM, but I do remember performing at Stimela for 3 to 4 Times, the Miss Schools Eastern Cape show has to be one of the best shows though , for the LOVE they always show me there... the Passion Launch Album show has to be one of my fave highlights too, there's really a lot of shows I've been to, even Town Hall 3 if not 2 times I don't remember the show but they were cool... really been to a lot but yeah, I don't remember, my fave venues are performing at night, outside, the Stadium status I'm lookin forward to perform in places like those and owh How can I forget the Tamboekie Festival... yeah I've been there too... I was about to perform on the Miss Schools Show, and some other show but then due to the pandemic things got messed up
How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
- It's a blessing and a privilege because it makes things easier for us artists .. it's an advantage.
How has COVID-19 affected your movement?
- 2 ways thou, Good And Bad, starting with the good, I've been so inspired to write a lot and record when I get studio time, I'm also learning a lot about the music business but the bad side is, I love performing, I'm so passionate about it, I spend a lot of time rehearsing and preparing for it and then I put it in display but now this makes things hard for everyone.
What is your favourite song to perform?
- ICY, but then that doesn't mean I don't like the other ones... but ICY gets people singing a lot it's so simple and catchy.
Which famous musicians do you admire?
- Dwayne Michael Carter/!Lil Wayne
What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
- Stealing chocolates with my friends, from Spargs we ended up being caught and we got lectures it was fu** up slime.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
- I'm guessin u mean in life ayt? My mom told me to never trust friends, but to show love to them at all costs.. But I was told to always keep my head high, like my nose is bleeding.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
- I wouldn't change nothing, but I'm sure once I make it the industry will change.
What’s next for you?
- Release more music, record some more & the rest is history.
