What first got you into music?
*My uncle used to listen to Kwaito music all the time, we had a new Hifi at home at the time and he had a collection of CD’s, So I found myself falling I love with the music .

Who inspired you to make music?
*My uncle.

How would you describe the music
that you typically create?
*Its music that comes straight from the heart, music that doesn’t discriminate, music that touches you in any way, it can make you sad, happy, angry, get you in your feelings, get you wild, get you excited and most of all motivate you.

What is your creative process like?
Since I make my beats, that’s where it starts....most of the time the moment I’m half done with the beat I’d be mumbling ideas over it. From there I turn those ideas into a concept, the concept could be about anything whether it’s about my experiences, or someone else’s experiences, me being inspired or me trying to inspire  or me trying to speak about what I feel at that moment, I could be happy, sad, angry or in a mood to make people wanna dance. Then I turn the concept into lyrics which is the most difficult part, and It’s always interesting though because sometimes you make a song in your head and when you put it in record it doesn’t come out how you thought it would. So it’s never an easy process.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?
*Blaqbonez from Nigeria

What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
*Probably working at an accounting company that I hate.😅

Where have you performed? What are your favourite and least favourite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
East London - Pop Bottles
East London - Jack Daniels scouts
East London - Skhanda world tour
Grahamstown- Arts festival
Queenstown - Yolo Lounge
Alice - Fort Hare
Mtata - Dage Wonderland Club
Sterkspruit - forgot the venue
And the list goes some venues I forgot.
But my Favorite was the Skhanda world tour and my least favorite was one of the shows we did in Alice Fort Hare, literally got boo’d off stage 😂
And no there’s no upcoming shows yet due to this pandemic.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
*Internet is busy saving music right now, artists are eating off streams now that they can’t do live shows because of the COVID-19. Music can be distributed world wide now via internet, so the impact of it really added more business because now it’s easy to buy music online rather than to buy a hard copy of your CD. It’s really interesting.

How has COVID-19 affected your movement?
It didn’t affect me really because it caught me at a time where I was trying to be creative, and spend more time alone and figure out a lot of things about my life personally. So I got to be creative in my studio, and i got to figure out a lot of things about myself and my music. Also got me thinking about the change and the impact I wanna make with my music.

*Believe in yourself.
